The transgender community constantly struggles over what terms are appropriate, correct, or acceptable. And not everyone whom most people consider transgender likes that term. They might identify as transgender, transsexual, gender queer, gender *censored*, androgyne, non-op transsexual, woman, woman born male, woman with a transsexual history, woman with transsexual experience, queer, pre-op transsexual, gender variant, and more.
Because there are so many possible terms, and because no one knows how you may identify yourself, this website will use the term "tranny" as an all encompassing term. Don't be offended, it's just practical.
